[OpenAFS] OpenAFS Win client error if root cell not available/reachable?

Hi!

I=B4m at the CLT with my win laptop and tried to start OpenAFS and reach
our cell.
It looks like the TU Chemnitz blocks some ports for us right now
(rxdebug onto our servers shows nothing)- and OpenAFS service did not sta=
rt.
If I try to start OpenAFS on my windows Vista I get some strnage entries
in my afsd_init.log:

and a dump with 3 MB follows.

Right now I cannot tell the exact version I installed, it must be a
1.570[3-6] built, installed 3rd march 2008.

Is the client expected to bump up in such a hard way if the root cell is
not reachable (with CellServDB and no dynroot)?
