Yep, that was exactly the problem.

# vos listaddrs
xanadu.icequake.net
65.38.17.159
valhalla.icequake.net
65.38.17.158

This problem drove me half nuts.
Thank you all very much for your help!  I hope that patch makes it into
a release soon.
