I have two laptops that were working fine until I installed VZAccess Manager
(software that comes with our Verizon broadband cards). After installing the
software and connecting to this dial-up connection, OpenAFS quits working.
The error that I get from the OpenAFS client is: "openafs service cannot be
reached".
aklog returns:
>aklog domain.local -k DOMAIN.LOCAL
aklog: ktc 7 (11862791) while obtaining tokens for cell domain.local
>translate_et 11862791
11862791 = Cache Manager is not initialized / afsd is not running
The service is in fact running.
At this point I have completely uninstalled VZAccess Manager and associated
software but that doesn't fix OpenAFS. I also performed a repair
installation of the Client, with the same result.
We are using OpenAFS for Windows 1.5.78.
I'm not really sure where to proceed with this and could use some help.
