Did you save a log of the build? Can I see the commands for, say,
osi_vfsops.c? (there will be a few instances of it)

-m64 isn't supported in older versions of Sun Studio. Until we have a
way of detecting which one we want to use, or modern versions actually
stop working with -xarch= , I don't think it should be changed.
