hi,

I am setting up a test openafs lab with centos 6.2. Following the
'Getting Started on Linux'
(http://docs.openafs.org/QuickStartUnix/ch02s09.html) instructions, I
get two problems:

First, there is no openafs-repository-VERSION.noarch.rpm file for
version 1.6.0; this is not a huge problem, I have made my own
openafs.repo file but maybe the documentation should be updated or the
file should be placed there ;-)

Second (so far), and the reason why I post: when installing the
kmod-openafs package, I get this error:

# yum install kmod-openafs
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Apparently the kmod-openafs package is not for the same version so it
does not install.

What is the recommended course of action for RHEL (or clones) in this case?

TIA.
