Thanks for responding.

It actually took a few days for my original post to get through the moderat=
ion queue=2C and in the meantime=2C I figured out what was wrong.

My prdb files had somehow gotten corrupted=2C which caused a chain reaction=
 of the server processes not being able to start properly.

To fix the problem=2C I used pt_util to dump the database files and reload =
