[OpenAFS] OpenAFS Windows adding additional cell level

I'm having an issue on one box for one user where the base cell (asu.edu) i=
s duplicated to a second level. So instead of accessing a share at \\afs\as=
u.edu\sharename<file:///\\afs\asu.edu\sharename>, it becomes accessible onl=
y via \\afs\asu.edu\asu.edu\sharename<file:///\\afs\asu.edu\asu.edu\sharena=
me>. This has been temporarily resolved by rebooting the server, but reappe=
ars after an undetermined interval of time. Deleting the users's windows pr=
ofile and re-creating it has not solved the problem.

Any suggestions?
