Hello,
=20
since I worked for several days/weeks on a problem cause by the =
migration of
AFS Version 1.2 xx to the latest release 1.5.59 I have no idea how to =
solve
the problem! Maybe anybody knows the solution!
=20
After I have done the migration from AFS version 1.2 to Version 1.5.59 =
the
roaming profiles of windows xp are loaded during logon but they =
couldn=92t
be written back to the server at logoff. The error message is =
=93access
denied=94, but the local System account is able to write to the profile =
path
during the complete =93logoff=94 process . (Tested with a script).
=20
If I move the path (registry) to another location ( Windows network =
share or
Novell), the write back of the windows XP user profile succeed!
=20
I have activated logon/logoff debugging in the registry! The error =
message
tells me that the AFS client cannot create the directory. It seems that =
the
impersonated logoff-process can=92t write to the users home directory.
=20
Who has any idea for further testing or knows the solution!
=20
=20
Best regards
=20
