Thanks, that helped a lot.  I was using a 300 MB cache and the default
chunk size; when I moved to a 1 GB cache and chunk size of 20, I
copied 440 MB in less than 2 minutes with <50% CPU usage, which is
perfectly fine.

I didn't realize the cache size affected the performance so
incredibly...
