[OpenAFS-port-darwin] Patches to make OpenAFS on Mac OS X more user-friendly

Running OpenAFS 1.2.7 on Mac OS X 10.2.4.  klogged as admin, a dir on 
this directory takes almost 5 minutes:

Does anyone have a clue as to why this might be.  On an IRIX or AIX box 
the ls outputs instantly.
