[OpenAFS-port-darwin] Many crashes on OS X 10.3

Hi,
I see other people using OpenAFS on OS X 10.3, and all we've had since
installing it has been continuous panics, to the point we're about to
downgrade our lab to 10.2.8 again until there's a functional AFS
client available.
Here are the panics on one machine:

Any idea what's going on? This is a pretty stock flat-panel iMac
running the OpenAFS 1.2.10a binaries.
