[OpenAFS-port-darwin] MacPro Mac OS X 10.4.7/8K1079 Kernel Panics

I've tried 1.4.1 and 1.4.2fc3. afsd seems to start fine but once I  
cd  or ls /afs/mycell (/afs/csail.mit.edu) it kernel panics. I have  
a  MacPro 2.66.

Is this a known issue? Are there newer development versions I can try  
out?

Is there any other useful information I can supply or tests I can  
run  to help out?
