[OpenAFS-port-darwin] OpenAFS 1.4.1 on a Core 2 Duo?

Is anyone on the list familiar enough with the changes between 1.4.1 =20
and 1.4.2fc4 to guess or state outright what causes kernel panics =20
with 1.4.1 on an iMac Core 2 Duo?  In particular, I am wondering =20
whether the problem is related to the chipset or to the build of OS =20
X.  I'm also curious what build these machines shipped with since I =20
don't think this page [1] has been updated yet.
