[OpenAFS-port-darwin] 1.5.28 panic Mac OS X 10.5.1?

Has anyone else had panic problems on startup of OpenAFS 1.5.28 on Mac  
OS X 10.5.1?  I installed it over a working 1.4.5 setup and haven't  
been successful in getting it to work yet.  The only thing I've  
changed off of the defaults was disabling spotlight indexing. The  
panic file suggests that the mds process was involved in the panic.
