Hi
I have just in the last few days updated my OpenAFS client from
1.4.2 to 1.4.4 under OS X 10.4.9 and I have had a series of machine
crashes while trying to do work in a parallels desktop for mac build
3188 with windows XP or Vista vm.
The vm would start more slower than normal and and the activity
monitor icon on my dock seemed to be showing a higher level of cpu
usage, while the parallels vm was starting up after taking a long
time to get going would take the machine down with a multilingual
screen of death. When I unistalled the client and re started the
problem went away.
I have installed my localised 1.4.2 client and my parallels vm's are
fine, I am have downloaded the 1.4.3 source and built the client
from it t and experience the same sort of problems. I will be going
back to the openafs 1.4.2 client.
I have a number of backtraces but they almost all are for parallels.

Keith
