[OpenAFS-port-darwin] aklog hook fails: no translation available for requested principal

hi, i'm trying to automate my aklog when i do a kinit under leopard. i can
kinit fine and every thing's great. i can also aklog without problems.

so.. i found a package called 'afslog.loginLogout' (v0.02b) which i place
into '/Library/Kerberos Plug-Ins' and modified
/Library/Preferences/edu.mit.Kerberos with

[libdefaults]
    login_logout_notification = afslog

but when i run kinit, i get:

Warning: Your password will expire in 101 days on Mon Jun 23 15:56:11 2008
afslog.loginLogout: Error: krb5_aname_to_localname: -1765328208 (No
translation available for requested principal)

any ideas? cheers,
