so fyi, we decided to resurrect syscall number 65 as a favour for OpenAFS in Solaris 11. It'll return back to its reserved state of SYSENT_LOADABLE(). this is an exceptional moment and I guess we've all reached agreement that OpenAFS needs to change regardless to follow the rules. cheers frankB
