[OpenAFS] Compilation problem

Yes, don't use "make install".  It doesn't work.  It never has.

You will find that you have a 'dest' directory that contains all the
files in labeled directories, in a Transarc DEST hierarcy.  Your job,
should you choose to accept it, is to copy those files to your system.

It would have saved you a lot of time to just install the RPMS
