There is no i586 kernel shipped with Red Hat Linux 7.2 -- you are using
the i386 kernel I assume (you can double check with `rpm -q kernel --qf
"%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}"`)
I've seen oopsen as well with the i386 kernel but haven't yet had the
time to sit down and look at it... the oops trace below is incomplete,
not containing the call trace so I can't verify if it matches either of
the two oopsen I've seen.
