[OpenAFS] Vos release problems...

We saw the same issue and had tons of problems with it.  Upgrading to
OpenAFS 1.2.9 for the file servers made the problem disappear entirely (to
the confusion of the OpenAFS developers, since they didn't think they'd
fixed anything related to this).

We were also on Solaris.
