The chairs of the AFS3 Standardization Group are pleased to announce its
approval of the following document:

Title: rxgk: GSSAPI based security class for RX
   Authors: S. Wilkinson, B. Kaduk
   Status: AFS3 Experimental
   Date: March, 2014
   I-D Tag: draft-wilkinson-afs3-rxgk-11.txt
   URL: http://afs3-stds.central.org/docs/draft-wilkinson-afs3-rxgk-11.txt

rxgk is a security class for the RX RPC protocol. It uses the GSSAPI
framework to provide an authentication service that provides
authentication, confidentiality and integrity protection for the rxgk
security class. This document provides a general description of rxgk
and how to integrate it into generic RX applications. Application
specific behaviour will be described, as necessary, in future
   documents.

Thank you to the authors, Simon Wilkinson and Ben Kaduk, for their work
on this document, and to everyone on this list for review and input.

AFS3 EXPERIMENTAL:
Documents in this state are generally complete specifications which
represent the consensus of the standardization group and which the group
considers ready for implementation and testing. Advancement to this
state requires consensus of the group, as determined by the chairs
following a formal last call on the mailing list.

This document is part of the AFS3 Standardization Group, which defines
network protocols and other standards related to the AFS3 protocol
family. Its work is done primarily via the afs3-standardization mailing
list, and participation is open to all interested parties. For more
information or to get involved, see http://afs3-stds.central.org/
