OpenAFS 1.2.4 is now available for download from the openafs.org web
site and in the openafs.org AFS cell.

In addition to a gzipped tarfile of source, binary distributions are
available for AIX 4.3.3, Darwin 1.4, Digital Unix 4.0F, Tru64 5.0A, Irix
6.5, Solaris 2.6, Solaris 7, Solaris 8, and Solaris 9 in a gzipped tar
format, MacOS X 10.1 in a tar file, Redhat 6.2, 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3 in RPM
format and Debian 2.2 (Potato) and 3.0 (Woody) i386 dpkgs.

As always, the latest release can be found at:

	   http://www.openafs.org/release/latest.html

Thanks to:
Derek Atkins for the Redhat RPMs
Derrick Brashear for the AIX 4.3.3 and Digital Unix 5.0A binaries
Chaskiel Grundman for the MacOS X / Darwin binaries
Sam Hartman for the Debian 2.2 and 3.0 dpkgs
Jeffrey Hutzelman for the Solaris 9 binaries

This release is intended primarily as a bug fix release. Of note is that
file creation should work again on Linux 2.2 series kernels.
