[OpenAFS-announce] OpenAFS release 1.6.18.2 available

The OpenAFS Release Team is pleased to announce the availability of OpenAFS
version 1.6.18.2 for UNIX/Linux. Source files can be accessed via the web at:

  http://www.openafs.org/dl/openafs/1.6.18.2/

or via AFS at:

   /afs/grand.central.org/software/openafs/1.6.18.2/
  \\afs\grand.central.org\software\openafs\1.6.18.2\

There are no binaries yet. Those will be uploaded as they become available.

This release brings client support for Linux mainline kernel 4.6 and
distribution kernels with backports from it. In addition, it fixes a Linux
client regression on some kernels which could lead to errors like "Unable
to read current working directory" and was introduced in release 1.6.18. It
also enables building on FreeBSD 10.2 and 10.3

Servers and other systems not affected by these changes can continue to use
the 1.6.18 or 1.6.18.1 release.
