[OpenAFS-devel] nullsoft installer

I've put the Inno Setup install script and installation helper apps at

/afs/desy.de/user/b/bailey/public/Installer.zip and
http://www-zeus.desy.de/~bailey/Installer.zip

Just unzip the file in the top level of the openafs distribution. It will
make an Installer folder with the script and helper applications in it (I've
compiled the helper apps to make life easy for now, but the source is in
there too). The helper apps just do some of the tasks that the installshield
dlls do.

I think it will install everything - I just translated the installshield
script as best I could so there may be some bugs in there and I'm sure it
can be improved, but if anyone wants to use it as a starting point to make a
more polished installation kit feel free.

I did build an install kit with the innosetup installer (
http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.htm ) which is free. The basic version does
enough to install everything, but there is a scriptable version available
too which can do extra tasks. If anyone wants the details I can post them to
the list.

installer? this would be a good way to get out of the complicated
installshield mess.
