This is merely to gauge interest in participation in such an endeavor.

The current theory is to find a group of people for each supported OpenAFS
platform to be willing to use designated snapshots (or in certain cases
designated snapshots on certain platforms) and offer feedback on the basis
of fixes included in those snapshots. Preferably people who are willing to
try these on their desktop machines or in test pool machines, and are
willing to update these on a somewhat regular basis, would be able to join
this effort.

If it helps increase participation these designated snapshots could be
provided in binary form. 

If you have interest, please let me know. General discussion on the topic
is probably appropriate for openafs-devel as it is certasinly within the
scope of the development effort.
