I have the same problem but _without_ big uid,
with linux kernel 2.4.16 !!!!

balsa@vectra:~$ id
uid=3D1000(balsa) gid=3D1000(balsa) groups=3D1000(balsa),100(users)
balsa@vectra:~$ pagsh=20
balsa@vectra:~$ id
uid=3D1000(balsa) gid=3D1000(balsa)
groups=3D33873,36944,1000(balsa),100(users)
balsa@vectra:~$

I am a full member in this groups and
i have the same access
right to files too. So i can read,write files too.

I think this is a high security risk for me.

Is this problem solved in the cvs tree ?
