[OpenAFS-devel] Partition problem on Apple Xserve

I've finally found a clue, maybe. On the Apple Xserve the "getfsent"
function returns NULL, it doesn't see any file sytem mounted.

I've manually created an "/etc/fstab" file (Apple, in their <STRONG
SARCHASM>infinite wisdom</STRONG SARCHASM> does not use it, despite the
fact that OS X is supposed to be BSD). But that didn't help. I've even
tried to manually create an "/etc/mtab" (something else they've decided
to eliminate).

Am I on the right track ? The getfsent call I found is in the function
"VAttachPartiton" (AFS_DARWIN_ENV version) in "vol/partiton.c".

If I am headed in the right direction, I'll see if I can write a mod for
OS X.

Thanks,
