No, I used the official binaries from web. I tried now the latest snapshot,
but no luck. The machine was freshly installed(maybe you remeber I used to
have problem on exactly this box few months ago) when I switched from IBM
AFS to Open AFS on that Irix machine. As I did not manage to fix that and
it seemed to be related to kernel, I've reinstalled finally.
Now we know where the problem is. ;) The machine used to be server/client,
currently no data on XFS partitions /vicepX.
