When trying to compile on x86_64 architecture I found that generation of
PAM modules is disabled.
I tried to circumvent this with an --enable-pam option for configure, but
that doesn't work.
The reason is, that the routine in configure turning off PAM compilation
for a given architecture comes AFTER the routine that checks the
commandline option.
I REALLY FEEL PATRONISED !!!
Is there any reason why I shouldn't have PAM modules on a 64bit Linux ? I
want my PAM !
