[OpenAFS-devel] time synchronization status

   I was trying to find a roadmap for openafs specifically I was curious
  if the time synchronization feature would be maintained or if it is
  going to be deprecated. I had thought I read something suggesting it
  would be deprecated but I can't find the reference anymore.

I think the discussion was on openafs-devel a few months ago.  All we did
was change the default from settime to nosettime.  I don't think there are
any plans to remove time setting completely, although if it becomes
difficult to support on some platform I wouldn't be surprised to see it
either go away or turn into a warning.

Do you have some need for this feature?  I would be curious to know why.
