[OpenAFS-devel] Problem obtaining openafs-stable-1_4_1-rc4 from anonymous cvs

I've got the same setup as you, and I just check out from cvs with  
the same commands you did.  Once checked out and in the root  
directory run the "regen.sh" file, that will create the "configure"  
script.

make
sudo make packages

worked for me.
