No, but I was planning to start installing a new
system with opensolaris (latest) in the next week
or so, so your results are of interest.

108 was shortly after the integration of volo (a new
network implementation, including kernel sockets),
which was 106, according to the project pages.  I
am suspicious something changed with that integration,
so I am curious if you complied and ran successfully
on a 106 (or 107?) platform?
