We use both of them, too. Restart times would otherwise be very
painful, especially as the salvager has been running after clean
shutdowns. Salvage still takes almost an hour, so what is the
salvager doing during that hour?

The other question is if the DAFS fileserver now in a shape that it
actually works and if not what can be done to get it there.
