Marc is right; backporting the export_fh approach would be far too large=20
and invasive a change for 1.4, which is supposed to be a stable release=20
series and, at this point in its life cycle, _very_ stable.  Updating the=20
checks to permit all of the filesystems which already just work would seem=20
to be an acceptable change.
