The following commits have been merged onto the openafs-stable-1_6_x git branch
for the upcoming 1.6.20.2 release:

The following gerrits are still under review:

  12524   afs: define NUMPAGGROUPS once
  12525   afs: Make ONEGROUP_ENV not Linux-specific
  12526   SOLARIS: Use AFS_PAG_ONEGROUP_ENV for Solaris 11
  12527   SOLARIS: fix for AFS_PAG_ONEGROUP_ENV for Solaris 11

Stephan noted a nit for 12524 for Linux 2.4, which prompted a 1.6.x-only change
proposed in the new gerrit,

  12563   linux24: remove unused NUMPAGGROUPS define

Further review of 12524 and 12525 for Linux 2.4 impact needs to be done.
Either 1.6.20.2 will be delayed a week, or these patches will be delayed until
the next 1.6.x release.

== Oracle Developer Studio 12.5 support ==

Mark Vitale submitted patchset 3 of gerrit 12558 to support the most recent
compiler on Solaris.

  12558   SOLARIS: prevent BAD TRAP panic with Studio 12.5

Note: Gerrit 11939, which is part of the stack to provide aarch64 support, will
need to be updated to accommodate this commit.

== Linux 4.11 pre ==

Changes in the 4.11rc1 break libafs builds. Joe and Mark report
autoconf changes are needed.

= 1.8.x =

New ticket in rt.central.org, to be investigated,

  134189: 1.6.20.1 make fails, 1.8.0pre1 compiles without swig but asetkey still crashes in both releases
