1.6.x series
============

* Stephan rebased 13493 on top of the gcc-warning fixes and buildbot
  verfied.
* Next 1.6.x release to be done after the 1.8.3pre1 release.

1.8.x series
============

* NEWS updated for 1.8.3pre1
* Last candidate for 1.8.3pre1 is 13487 (Run ctfmerge for all objects)
  - Mark V to verify
* 12696 (Switch to non-embedded vnodes for solaris 11) to be deferred to 1.8.4


master
======

* Progress on gcc8 warning removals
* More bosserver-no-client-dirs comments to be addressed
* Disscussion of gerrit 13491 (get vldb lock time stamp)

buildbot
========

Ben reports progress on the websocket proxy support for the existing apache 2.2
running on the buildbot master host.  This is needed to support SSL/TLS.
