Okay? Don't know whether "set_name" or the longer form
is what is wanted. Compare clear with lslog:

fstrace clear: clear logs by logname or by event set
Usage: fstrace clear [-set <event set for which to clear trace log>+]
[-log <trace log name to clear>+] [-help]

fstrace dump: dump AFS trace logs
Usage: fstrace dump [-set <event set for which to write trace log>+]
[-follow <trace log name to write out 10sec interval>]
[-file <path to trace log file for writing>]
[-sleep <interval (secs) for writes when using -follow>]
          [-help]

fstrace lslog: list available logs
Usage: fstrace lslog [-set <set_name>+] [-log <log_name>+] [-long] [-help]
Where: -long show defined log size in kbytes and if it is allocated in
kernel memory.

fstrace lsset: list available event sets
Usage: fstrace lsset [-set <set_name>+] [-help]

fstrace setlog: set the size of a log
Usage: fstrace setlog [-log <trace log name>+]
-buffersize <# of 1-kbyte blocks to allocate for log> [-help]

fstrace setset: set state of event sets
Usage: fstrace setset [-set <set_name>+] [-active] [-inactive] [-dormant]
          [-help]
Where: -active enable tracing for event set & allocate kernel memory
-inactive disables tracing for event set, keep kernel memory
-dormant disable tracing for event set & free kernel memory
