[OpenAFS] OAFS 1.0.4a SMP with a stock RedHat 2.4.3-12smp kernel ?

My belief is it's something particular to the Alan Cox patch included in
the RedHat kernel, but as yet I still haven't had any time to investigate.
If someone with an SMP machine is bored it would useful if you could:
a) first isolate the problem down to one particular patch
b) less likely, but isolate it down to one particular set of changes, if
it's a large patch like the Alan Cox patch.

If someone with such a machine and the inclination to do this is out
there, I'll be happy to provide any assistance I can.
