[OpenAFS] Problems mounting /afs(22)

Hi there,
I got a problem starting the afsd with SuSE 7.2 kernel 2.4.4-SMP.
I compiled the the openafs source without problems, but if I start 
the afsd in verbose mode I got the error message:
could not mount /afs(22)
but the cache directory is filled.
I installed reiserfs, but it didn't work on ext2 either.
