Here at pnl we run a lot of our linux machines on OpenAFS, due to the 30 minute
response time for bugfixes :) Our servers are solaris with transarc/ibm afs. It
seems to work rather flawlessly. The server thing I am not sure about, we have
not tried it yet.

Subject: [OpenAFS] Open AFS vs. IBM AFS

Is any one running a mixed environment of IBM AFS and OPEN AFS?
We are currently running IBM AFS 3.5 database servers on AIX 4.X
and we would like to migrate them to new Open AFS on Linux.
Has anyone done this? Is there anything to watch out for?
