[OpenAFS] Volume lost?

Hi *,

after setting up a test-server and a linux client on a remote site, I created a
second partition /vicepb (about 2 GB size) with two volumes.

I mounted both rw-volumes into my afs-tree. After setting the quota to 1,5 GB I
unpacked a linux-kernel in one of the volumes.

A few minutes after that, I no longer could change into /afs ('doesn't exist')
and the mountpoint belonged to daemon:root.

After rebooting the machine, the partition is still there, the volume is still
there (at least 'vos partinfo', 'vos listvldb' and 'vos listvol' see them), but
the mount-point is gone and I cannot mount the volume again with 'fs mkmount'.

Even renaming the volume didn't work. The error message is always the same:
'fs: You can not change a backup or readonly volume'.

Any hints? This is on a Debian system with openafs-1.1.1-3 packages.

Thx.
