Odd; I built OpenAFS 1.0.4 fine against both 2.4.0 and 2.2.18/2.2.19, aside 
from one patch which I keep forgetting to pass back to Derrick.

Oh!  But you need pam-devel-0.27-169 installed.

I'm extracting the patch from our source tree now, will send it on later.
