One little thing I would like to see there (and which obviously
already exists) are regularly updated mailing list archieves; the
repeated download of that file is not so funny.

To reduce the traffic, one probably should consider to provide a
one-file-per-message format (nnml or the like) as well as the already
existing mbox format.
