Well, something went seriously wrong in either the afsd or the module, because
they didn't unload (and the first thing I did before even starting with AFS is
trying whether 'afs stop' worked - the previous release would oops immediately
on this). 

I'll try to find some time today or tomorrow to reproduce it under more
controlled circumstances.
