Both HP-UX 11.00 and IRIX 6.5 have the nsswitch with shared libraries; I
don't know how hard it is to drop in a new one. I know that all of the
*BSDs have nsswitch implementations, but I've heard that they don't
necessarily support new drop-in libraries. I don't have them around to
check.

That just leaves Tru64 and AIX among the common Unix platforms. Tru64 may
also support it; I can't easily check at the moment.
