[OpenAFS] What is the max volume size?

I don't know that it matters but I have successfully moved a 34gb volume. Is 
there an actual celing set? I believe I read somewhere that the 8gb limit 
could be overcome by using logical volumes. I don't understand why lvm would 
make a difference.
