hi,

i installes openafs 1.1.1 on a Debian 2.2r3 box with Kernal 2.4.9ac10 and
glibc 2.1.3. Using klog i get an afs-token from the cell rrz.uni-koeln.de,
tokens shows the following:

(~)$ tokens

Tokens held by the Cache Manager:

   --End of list--
(~)$ klog -principal a0590
Password:
(~)$ tokens

Tokens held by the Cache Manager:

User's (AFS ID 41344) tokens for afs@rrz.uni-koeln.de [Expires Sep 27 02:37]
   --End of list--
(~)$

now when i try to chang to /afs it fails:

(/)$ ls -l
total 85
   1 drwxr-xr-x 19 root root 1024 Sep 26 00:54 ./
   1 drwxr-xr-x 19 root root 1024 Sep 26 00:54 ../
   8 drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 8192 Jul 20 09:46 afs/

(/)$ cd /afs
bash: cd: /afs: Not a directory

any ideas why ?

i can even access /afs als local root.... any help is welcome
