[OpenAFS] Stability of OpenAFS

Hi,

I am in the processes of piloting OpenAFS on a THU64 V5.1A platform.  I heard
from someone that OpenAFS is not as stable as one hopes.  Especially for use
on production servers.  From your experiences, is OpenAFS stable?
Is this file system production ready or is it not there yet?  Any comments or
suggestions would greatly help.  We are planning to use it for our ERP 
Production
Servers.  If it is not that stable than we might have to look for other means
of file sharing.
