Sounds even better.
Imho the key is to avoid running big batch jobs over night.
We`re living in the 21st century. I think its no reliable solution to "sy=
nc"=20
things via batch jobs. =20

One must connect the pieces to interoperate in realtime.
Redundancy in databases is a very bad idea if you want to keep the databa=
se(s)=20
consistent as a whole. Maybe a metadirectory is the solution.

LDAP is only one directiion. I think it`s the widely accepeted and approv=
ed=20
solution we have for these job, we only need the interfaces.=20
