[OpenAFS] buserver barfs on "localhost" installation

I had the same problem. I changed my /etc/hosts file to read:
#
# Internet host table
#
127.0.0.1       localhost
ip.ad.dr.ess    <afsservername>      loghost
Note the servername does not have the domain name attached.
